Cardiff Blues Team Record:With the Cardiff blues only been established in 2003 the clubs record is relatively short. The opening season saw the blues only win three matches with 12 losses. The second season was not much better with the team finishing in 9th place however they did record their first Heineken Cup victory. In 2005-2006 the team purchased some big name players one been Jonah Lomu on a temporary basis. However even a few bug names the results did still not improve. The 2006-2007 season was the teams best yet with full back Ben Blair making a big impression. The team managed to finish second in the domestic league only narrowing missing out on the title. With such improvement and big names continuing to join the club this team is one to look out for. |
